Language barrier helps in foreign markets from immidiately establishing itself as the monopoly in chinese markets.
In India most internet savvy crowd already knows functional english and not as difficult to get into. And to get to the commoners is a tedious task as you'll need language more than just hindi to cover it while traditional Chinese is enough to cover most of China.
Also government enforced protectionism to make it easy for chinks to compete with foreign MNCs. Baidu and Wechat wouldn't grow this large if China didn't ban google and Facebook. Similar restrictions exist in other markets which frustrates many of them and many of them simply rage quits instead of trying to change for chinks.
They aren't better. They just cracked the code and turns out it favors them too. Indians on the other hand just simply throw every piece of shit to the wall and expecting one of them to stick.
